Tarde perezosa || Lazy afternoon

+ Parte de la tarde de ayer la pasamos Manuel y yo en un merendero del S.XIX.

+ Siempre que vengo aquí no puedo evitar pensar en la mesa de piedra que lo preside, labrada en una pieza única, y me imagino el tremendo trabajo que hay tras ese mesado, no sólo para darle forma, si no también para transportarlo hasta su ubicación en una época en la que no había vehículos de motor.

+ Gracias a los hombres y caballos de entonces, por permitirnos pasar una perezosa tarde de verano a la sombra, comiendo manzanas, bebiendo agua, tallando y lijando tirachinas.

+  Manuel and me spent part of yesterday afternoon in a picnic area of the XIX century.

+ Whenever I come here I can´t help but think of the stone table, carved in one piece, and I imagine the tremendous work behind the countertop, not only to shape, but also to transport to this location at a time when there were no motor vehicles.

+ Thanks to the men and horses then, afford to spend a lazy summer afternoon in the shade, eating apples, drinking water, carving and sanding slingshots.
