Apertura || Opening

+ Por fin estamos abiertos, con casi un mes de retraso sobre la fecha prevista, pero todo llega.

+Todavía faltan muchas cosas por recibir y mucha búsqueda por delante, pero la linea de trabajo esta definida, y muestra de ello son los productos que ofertamos.

+ La respuesta de la gente ha sido interesante, muchos curiosos y algunos que tras visitar el espacio han comentado que les parecía un sitio distinto al resto de los comercios locales. Esa era un poco la intención, buscar la diferencia sin dejar de ser uno mismo. Queríamos montar la tienda que nos gustaría descubrir en nuestra ciudad y que hasta la fecha no encontrábamos, y resulta agradable saber que alguna gente lo percibe de esa manera.

+ Y después del primer dia de trabajo una merecida recompensa en una de las terrazas de la Plaza.

+ We are finally open, with almost a month late on schedule, but everything comes.

+ There are still many goods to get ahead and much searching, but the line of work is defined, and proof of this are the products we offer.

+ The response from people has been interesting, many curious and some who after visiting the space have commented that they felt a site different from other local businesses. That was kind of intention, find the difference and still be yourself. We wanted to mount the store that we would like to discover in our city and to date there were not, and it is nice to know that some people perceive it that way.

+ And after the first day of work a deserved reward in one of the terraces of the Square.

Vida despreocupada || Carelessly life

+ Tras varios días encerrado en el taller sentía necesidad de aire fresco y color verde. Jorge y Manuel prepararon el comedero para pájaros y tras elegirle árbol me dediqué al bello arte de tumbarme en la hierba a observar a mis hijos jugar despreocupadamente.

+ Un paseo hasta el viejo puente sobre el arroyo para comprobar que la tabla que pusimos a finales de verano sigue en su sitio, y al caer la tarde, cuando comenzaba a refrescar, nos movimos hasta la orilla del lago Castiñeiras para charlar sobre lo guay que sería dormir una noche allí y darles a los perros una buena ración de palos.

+ After several days locked in the workshop felt the need of fresh air and green. Jorge and Manuel prepared the bird feeder and after choosing the tree I spent the evening dedicated to the fine art of lying on the grass to watch my kids play carelessly.

+ A walk to the old bridge over the creek to check that the table we put  at the end of summer still in place, and at dusk, when it began to cool, we moved to the shore of Lake Castiñeiras to talk about how great would be spend a night there and give the dogs a good portion of sticks.

Comedero ++ || Bird feeder ++

+ En un principio el nuevo comedero en el que estaba trabajando tenía que tener tejado. Se trataba de un capricho o un empeño personal. Pero a medida que el diseño sobre papel se iba materializando el tejado comenzaba a molestarme, hasta el punto que he decidido prescindir de él. En el plano funcional no aporta nada, y en el formal interrumpía el juego de verticales y horizontales. Así que adiós tejado y hola diseño definitivo del comedero BUENAS TARDES PAJARILLO.

+ At first the new bird feeder in which I was working was to have roof. It was a whim or a personal commitment. But as the design on paper was materializing the roof was beginning to annoy me to the point that I decided to do without it. At the functional level does nothing, and at the formal level the game between vertical and horizontal was interumpted. So goodbye Roof and hello bird feeder GOOD EVENING LITTLE BIRD final design.

Comedero + || Bird feeder +

+ Hoy me he dedicado a quitar lo que sobraba y añadir lo que faltaba al comedero "BUENAS TARDES PAJARILLO". Sobraba un poco de tejado. Era demasiado grande, pesaba mucho y restaba visibilidad. He añadido algunos dibujos que creo le hacían falta.

+ Today I´ve been removing the leftovers and adding whatever is missing from the bird feeder"GOOD EVENING LITTLE BIRD". The roof was too big, was heavy and visibility remained. I added some pictures that I think it needed.

Comedero || Bird feeder

+ Hace ya bastante tiempo que quería realizar un comedero para pájaros. Estos días he estado trabajando en  uno. Básicamente está definido el diseño, aunque es posible que quite o añada algo. Lo que si tengo claro es el nombre del modelo: "Buenas tardes pajarillo".

+ En la base está situado el semillero. A media altura cuatro pequeños barrotes, los blancos son a modo de brocheta, donde colocar tomate cherry, pan y manzana. Los de color nogal y verde tienen la función de apoyo.

+ A long time ago wanted to make a bird feeder. These days I've been working on one. Basically the design is set, although I may remove or add something. What if I have clear is the model name: "Good evening little bird."

+ At the base lies the seeder. Halfway up four small bars, the whites are as a skewer, where to put cherry tomato, bread and apple. The walnut and green color ones have the support function.
